Hiking in the Grand Massif - French Alps..

.The Grand Massif is an undiscovered Alpine wilderness just one hour from Geneva airport. Based in Chalet Sougey in Samoens, we'll give you all you need to enjoy this beautiful Alpine landscape under the face of Mont blanc. From the chalet we'll take you direct to the trail heads, and with your self guiding packs you'll be able to enjoy the mountains in a safe and stress free way. We'll then collect you from your destination and always be on hand to assist should any problems arise. Throughout the Grand Massif you'll find regular fresh water points direct from mountain springs, remote mountain refuges serving local food and drink, and awe inspiring views wherever you turn. You'll also find ski lifts running and adapted for summer should you fancy a more relaxed day's walking.. Our self guiding packs will tell you everything you need to know about the area, with graded walks including detailed maps, times, distances elevations etc, as well as where to find food and water along the way. Steve and Eleanor at the chalet are also on hand to give any advice you need, or indeed accompany you on your walk should you require it.
